Driving is Not Your Only Commuting Option

Driving is not your only commuting option, and depending on where you live and your proximity to your work or school, other commuting options may be more efficient and beneficial:

  • Walking or Cycling: No cost to you and you can get some extra exercise.
  • Carpooling: Sharing the drive with other people will help to cut down the cost of commuting each day. Plus, if you share driving duties, you can save the energy and stress of having to drive every day.
  • Public Transportation: If you live directly on the subway line or have a bus stop close by, public transportation could be your best option. It’s likely cheaper than driving too!
