Events Around Ontario/Things To Do On The Weekend
It looks like the nice weather is finally here to stay! This usually means that it’s time to get out and get active during those sunny weekends in the spring and summer. The good news is there is literally something for everyone and there is no shortage of events and things to do around Ontario.
If you are having trouble trying to figure out what you want to do with your weekends, here a number of great options:
- Hit up a farmers market: It is farmer’s market season and they are popping up all over the place in Ontario. Find the one nearest you and make a day trip out of it.
- Hit the trails: Ontario is full of amazing trails and bike paths. Take the family out for a bike ride or hike and enjoy the day staying fit and having fun.
- Take in a ball game: The Blue Jays are playing great baseball and who doesn’t love spending the afternoon taking in a ball game! A perfect family outing.
- Niagara Wine Festival:Are you a wine lover? Then you should definitely plan to make a trip to Niagara Region for the annual Niagara Wine Festival. Running from June 14 to 22 it offers the best of the best of wine in the region.
- Take in a music festival: The warm weather also means that it is officially music festival time. There is no shortage of music festivals to attend this year. Whether you are more of a jazz fest person or want to go to a rock show, you will have lots of concerts to choose from. Some of your options include:
