February 27th, 2018  |  Insurance

If you're not sure how you got to Part 3 already, check out Part 1 and Part 2.

Finally, we have arrived at the last installment of the best conversion rates for Canadian travellers. Which means, we’re going to break down how many loonies you’re going to need when you travel to the the final five top tourist destinations for Canadians, as determined by StatsCan.

We’re going to look at the average price of a taxi ride, a nice meal, a local activity, and one whole night at a 4-star hotel in both the local and Canadian currencies to determine where you can get the best bang for your Canadian buck.

To convert currency, we’re using XE, which is liable to fluctuate on a daily basis. In addition, conversion fees, sales taxes and/or tourist taxes are likely to occur. So use this post as a basis if you’re indeed thinking of travelling to any of these popular destinations. At the end, we hope it’ll help you budget a bit!

Find admissions and hotel offers before you fly to your destination, you’ll save money.
