With the winter weather in full force, it is important for all drivers to adjust their driving habits in order to navigate the roads safety this season. The more prepared and educated you are about winter driving best practices, the safer you will be this winter.

Here are some important winter driving tips that all drivers should follow:

  • Slow down and drive at a speed that makes sense for the road conditions.

  • Install winter tires to give your vehicle increased traction.
  • Make sure that you remove all snow and ice off your vehicle before driving.
  • Take your vehicle in for a check up to ensure that it is ready for the winter driving season.
  • Have a winter emergency kit in your vehicle.
