The 10 Most Expensive Celebrity Homes
Celebrity real estate doesn’t come cheap. Most of the list prices for the abodes belonging to the world’s popular elite start at several million dollars. Of course what’s a few million dollars to the world’s rich and famous? These expensive celebrity homes laugh in the pitiful face of single digit million dollar listings:
Kim and Kanye

The world’s (arguably) most powerful couple needs a comfortable place to rest their weary heads after a long day of dominating pop culture and raising a cute daughter. A $20 million estate complete with an indoor theater and two swimming pools on a sprawling 3-acre property with its own vineyard seems like the kind of place to do it.
Beyonce and Jay-Z

Speaking of power couples, Queen Bey and Jay kind of wrote the rulebook on it. They keep their lives pretty private most of the time and nobody could even confirm whether they’d bought this mansion or that one or what. Earlier this year though, TMZ reported that the duo has in fact decided to rent a 16,000 square foot L.A. property for $150,000/month. I hope they remembered to get renter’s insurance.
Rihanna

We all know Riri is about getting her money, and who can blame her when she’s gotta pay property taxes on multiple million dollar mansions. One of her most recent acquisitions? A $21.8 million slice of paradise on her home island of Barbados. The high sticker price places this estate squarely on the list of the most expensive celebrity homes.
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith
Malibu, California (Image via Finances Online)
Jada once described their home as “something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land” to Architectural Digest. I don’t know what that means but they spent $42 million and counting on making the home the perfect space for their family.
Oprah

The media magnate certainly has no shortage of cash, which is why she skips over the whole “mansion” or “estate” phase and lives in what amounts to a palace. It cost $85 million and apparently still wasn’t good enough for Oprah’s liking.
John Travolta
Ocala, Florida (Image via Finances Online)
Some people buy houses and have to think about theoretical issues like, “If I get another car will it fit in my garage?” Well apparently Travolta had to ask himself, “Man, where am I gonna land all these planes?” so he built his house on an airfield with not one, but two runways. That’s probably why his property is among the most expensive celebrity homes.
Jerry Seinfeld
The Hamptons, New York (Image via Finances Online)
What’s the deal $32 million mansions? According to the veteran comedian and television superstar, his house is laidback. The place has its own baseball diamond though, so I think it could still use a chill pill or two.
Tiger Woods
Jupiter Island, Florida (Image via Daily Mail)
While he is merely a shadow of the titan he used to be, golf’s greatest star still has a $60 million dollar private golf course and beach house estate to sleep in every night.
Bill Gates
Medina, Washington (Image via Business Insider)
With a net worth of $79.2 billion, spending $63 million on a 66,000 sq ft teched-out lakeside lodge probably wasn’t a big deal to the world’s richest person. Today, it’s valued at just over 120 million.

Queen Elizabeth is a celebrity right? While one could argue that Buckingham Palace is much more than a residence, it makes this list of expensive celebrity homes thanks to its wallet-shattering valuation of about $1.55 billion.
